Meet Your Home Inspector

Ray Camacho

Hi, I’m Ray Camacho, owner of R&C Home Inspections.

Before becoming a home inspector, I spent over 25 years in transportation and logistics — including owning and operating my own trucking business. That experience taught me two things that now define my inspection style: attention to detail and clear communication.

I became a home inspector because I understand what it feels like to buy a home and discover issues after closing. My goal is simple — help buyers make confident decisions without unnecessary panic. When I inspect a home, I don’t cut corners. I get on the roof when it’s safe, enter attics and crawlspaces, and thoroughly evaluate the systems that matter. You’ll receive a same-day, clear and easy-to-understand report that helps you move forward with confidence.

I pride myself on being calm, fair, and easy to work with. My reports are designed to support the transaction — not derail it — while still being honest and thorough.

I’m also fluent in Spanish and happy to assist families who feel more comfortable communicating in their native language.

At the end of the day, I treat every home like it’s my own investment, because I know for most families, it’s the biggest one they’ll ever make.

New Construction Inspection

Even newly built homes can have overlooked defects. A third-party home inspection before closing provides an added layer of protection and peace of mind. We evaluate installation quality, safety concerns, visible defects, and overall workmanship prior to your final walk through. This allows concerns to be addressed by the builder before you take ownership. An independent home inspection ensures your new home meets expectations and not just minimum code standards.

Residential Inspection

Whether you are buying, selling, or simply want a clearer understanding of your property, our residential inspections provide a thorough visual evaluation of the homes major systems and accessible components. We inspect roofing, exterior, structure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, interior components, attic spaces, and more in accordance with California Standards of Practice. Our reports are clear, self-documented, and delivered the same day whenever possible.

11-Month Warranty Inspection

Most builders provide a one-year warranty. An 11-month inspection helps identify concerns before that warranty expires. We perform a full home inspection to identify visible issues that may have developed during your first year of ownership, allowing you to submit repairs to the builder before your coverage ends. This proactive step can help protect your investment long-term.

Wood-Destroying Organism (WDO) / Termite Inspection

Wood destroying organisms, including termites, can cause significant structural damage and are not included in a standard home inspection. For your convenience, we can coordinate a licensed third-party termite inspection to be performed at the same time as your home inspection. The termite inspection is conducted by a licensed pest control professional and is contracted directly between you and the termite company. They provide their own independent report.
